I love the way this bride used pink under her wedding dress and the neon colors for jewelry.

This is a really cool use of oranges; I love that they put an orange in a bowl for everyone.

There are so many ways you can incorporate neon colors into your reception. You can put them anywhere from the floral arrangements to the linens on the tables.

You can even include neon colors in the cake. It still looks very classy but it gives the wedding that extra bit of color and fun.

Your shoes can also be neon. It’s the perfect way to show your personality during the wedding and it really makes a statement.

Having dahlias in your bouquet is a great way to add a bright pop of color.  You can also have a bouquet made completely out of dahlias.

Dahlias also make great boutonnieres.  They aren’t as feminine looking as other flowers so your groom will love them too!

You can also keep the theme going by having dahlias in your centerpieces and other decorations at the ceremony and reception.

Here is an example of a clean, classic, white shoes with a little extra. The rhinestones show a touch of elegance yet aren’t too much of a statement.

Now these are a statement shoe! Have fun with your shoes! Maybe you want to use your wedding colors or your favorite color. Remember, a lot of dresses will cover most of your shoe but if you do wear something fantastic make sure your photographer get a great picture.

Everyone has heard the old saying, “Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.” How about a blue shoe?

I love the look of cowboy boots. They are great option for the bride or the groom and they show your style and personality plus they are super comfy for dancing the night away.

Shoes or boots are a great gift for you bridesmaids. The girls can use them again, everyone can match (or not! ) for pictures and it’s one less expense for your maids.

It’s important to remember that it’s your wedding and you can do whatever you want! At times we get too caught up in the traditions and customs but in the end it’s you and your fiances big day and there really are no rules. If you don’t want to wear shoes…DON’T!

Wedding season is right around the corner but wedding shower season is in full swing! Wedding showers come in all shapes and sizes. The shower might have the same color scheme as the wedding or it might take the opposite direction. It’s always smart to focus on a theme for any event. Whether the theme is a certain color or an era of time it helps to focus your ideas and inspiration.

I love the idea of using watering cans instead of the traditional basket.  This would be great for a spring time wedding.

Here are some alternative ideas to having a basket. Having a small bouquet attached to a ribbon loop has become very popular. I personally love the ribbon wands because it is something I have never seen before.

Head pieces, like this wreath, are another great way to give the flower girl flowers without having an actual basket. The girls will love it because it will make them feel like a princess.  My favorite thing I’ve seen recently is flower girls in tutu dresses! It looks absolutely adorable and it’s perfect for the dance floor!

I came across this picture and thought it was really cute. I love when brides are able to add a little humor to their wedding.

I love the idea of hiding behind balloons and then letting them go.  Your bridal party and family could be somewhere close and once they see the balloons floating away, then they know exactly when you saw each other.

I have found a lot of first look pictures where there is only a door separating the bride and groom from not seeing each other.  I especially like the first one because they were reading the letters that they wrote to each other.

Another first look option that I have found is where the groom is either blind folded or the bride covers the grooms eyes with her hands.

Here is another spin on that previous idea.  The groom was blind folded and the bride kept her eyes closed the whole time.

I would love to hear some feed back from our readers on whether or not you would like to see your groom before the ceremony.

These luggage tags are a clever idea for destination weddings.  They incorporate your theme and are also something that your guests can use in the future.  Everywhere your guests go they will have a small token to remind them of the great memories from your wedding.

You can also integrate the season in which you are getting married into your favors.  Coffee would warm your guests up on a cool fall day or if you are having a summer wedding your guest can cool down with a fresh glass of homemade limeade.

I found these drink koozies and absolutely loved the idea.  You can personalize them to include the date of your wedding and it is something your guests can use during your wedding and after.

I loved these two RSVP cards from Wedding Paper Divas.  You can incorporate the pattern and floral detail through out your whole wedding.

These three were the ones that inspired me for my RSVP cards.  I love the travel themed wording from the first one and the postcard idea from the second one.  The first and third one allow your guests to request a song.  I like that they incorporated that because it helps to figure out what your guests like to listen to.  I also love how fun the third one is because it allows your guests to feel like they are apart of your wedding, by the way you choose the food, drink and your excitement level.

What I like about these two is that your guests have a different way of choosing if they are coming or not.  With the first one they allowed their guests to fill out a mad lib but chose their wording depending on if they were coming or not.  I also like this idea because they used it as their escort cards as well.  That way everyone could read what each person wrote.  The second one is great because the guest can choose which card they would like to send back.
